Squirrel was also supposed to be a show steer for Adams County Fair, and like Quarrel from yesterday he did not get to go. He is a Red Angus, Main Anjou cross that we bought to take to the fair. He has a hanging weight of 799 lbs. He is currently in at Bryans Meats waiting for cutting instructions.
Squirrel is $3.00/lb hanging weight (you pay us the hanging and then the butcher for cutting and wrapping). You can get a 1/4, 1/2 or whole. Cutting and Wrapping is .98 plus tax to Bryans for 1/2 or whole, and 1.40/lb for a 1/4.
Our grain fed beef is hormone and steroid free. We feed them crushed corn and alfalfa hay and they are fed at our ranch in Connell, WA.
